I needed a page to put the things that did not fit anywhere else, so here it is!

When you thought I wasn't looking
When you thought I wasnt looking You hung my first painting on the refrigerator,
And I wanted to paint another.
When you thought I wasnt looking
You fed a stray cat,
And I thought it was good to be kind to animals.
When you thought I wasnt looking,
You baked a birthday cake just for me,
And I knew that little things were special things.
When you thought I wasnt looking
You said a prayer, and I believed
There was a God that I could always talk to.
When you thought I wasnt looking
You kissed me goodnight, and I felt loved.
When you thought I wasnt looking
I saw tears come from your eyes,
And I learned that sometimes things hurt
But that its all right to cry.
When you thought I wasnt looking you smiled.
And it made me want to look that pretty too.
When you thought I wasnt looking you cared,
And I wanted to be everything I could be.
When you thought I wasnt looking---I looked.
And I wanted to say thanks for all those things you did
When you thought I wasnt looking.

Room To Grow
Safe in your hand A seed cannot grow Yet fighting the land
New life will flow
We grow through mistakes
Through trying again.
When we learn why we lose
We learn how to win.
So smooth not the path
That children must crawl,
For in order to walk,
We first need to fall.
Give to each child
Your love and your care,
With plenty of room
To wonder and dare!

My Angel
Once I saw an angel Her face shone down on me It made me feel all warm inside and safe as I could be
She said she'd always be there to protect me from life's harm
She reached down gently
and wrapped me in her arms
The angel will be mine always
way until the very end
she'll love and care for me
Because this angel is my friend.
This poem was written and given to me by Linda.
Thanks Linda, you're great!
